Week 5 - Done and Dusted
This week was pretty normal, classes every day, working on Spanish grammar, and practicing teaching. The Spanish is improving quite a bit, and I am so glad that some phrases are becoming second nature to me. Speaking in any other tense other than present is difficult though. Some of my adventures from this week:
I got a cold or allergies earlier last week, and they got pretty bad, went through about 2 boxes of tissues in one day. Luckily it wasn't COVID, but it was gross.
Yesterday me and Elder Malasky got locked out of our room so we had to run to the reception desk shirtless for a key. I have never run so fast, especially since we have to pass by the Hermanas (the sister missionaries) apartments. I mean I'm a pretty attractive dude, but nobody needs to see me running after curfew without a shirt. It's quite funny now, not so much in the moment.
I have grown a lot spiritually this week. We get to have a lot of devotionals and a lot of our talks are about finding your purpose for serving and converting your self. So I'm going to do the impossible and give my testimony in Spanish to work on my purpose.
My language is still a bit rough, but it's getting better. I hope everyone is doing amazing. Keep in touch. Love you guys.
