Zone Conference (Note: At least read the End)

Hey guys, this week was sweet! P Day was fun, we went on a hike, hung out, ate food which was fun. I have come to find that food is very important for the Spanish branch. They get mad if we don't come to their restaurants to get free food, I mean I'm not complaining though.

We also had zone conference which is where they get everyone in the southern part of the mission over here, and we do a big churchy thing with President Weekes. It was super cool. We just talked about how our focus needs to be on Christ in everything we do. Our messages need to always relate back to him, and we need to have a Christ centered mission culture. Super cool stuff, and then we got to go to Texas Roadhouse after (It's better in Texas).

This week was incredibly busy though. We have had an investigator lesson or 2 every day and there are a lot of them that are willing to learn more. We had a member baptism last night, and we invited a few friends with us, and they were all able to make friends with people from the branch and make connections. Some of our members even set up lessons for us. SWEET.

Nothing super eventful this week, just a tad long and I'm broke for the week, so we are eating the ramen storage haha. Gonna end with a quick thought.

2 Nephi 31: 20- Wherefore, ye must press forward with a steadfastness in Christ, having a perfect brightness of hope, and a love of God and of all men. Wherefore, if ye shall press forward, feasting upon the word of Christ, and endure to the end, behold, thus saith the Father: Ye shall have eternal life.

The gospel is pretty simple, come to Christ, follow His example, and learn all that you can. It's important to learn about the scriptures, but we are also told to learn of our world, of ourselves, that we may know the glory of God's creations. So stay in school kids, and seminary that's cool too.

For those that are thinking about going on a mission, DO IT. I have already seen so many blessings in the people around me. Ya it's stinking hard. That's kinda the point, sacrifices must be made. But we don't grow in the comfort zone. I wouldn't change my decision for anything, and I promise that if you start searching for a purpose to serve, write it down, grow it, and keep it in mind you will realize the joy the work can bring to your life.

Anyway, thanks for all the uplifting messages guys. Miss you all lots. Sorry I don't got pictures But the one from the baptism yesterday.
