Too Long

Dang been forever since I got an email out. Quick rewind... 2-3 weeks ago (cant remember anymore) we put 2 people on date, had a baptism that was super hectic. We tried filling the font, it was too slow. So me being the genius that I am ran back and forth across the whole church filling up huge tubs of hot water to dump into the font. Got filled up just in time, like as they were opening the doors haha. We also had a dual wedding where we got to see some friends, and we got 2 people married so they can be more prepared to get baptized and stuff. 

Seen a lot of miracles recently with being able to meet with old friends (by that I mean people I met a few months ago), get some new ones, and Spanish is on FIRE! I got asked by the APs a few days ago during mission president interviews if I would ever be willing to teach the mission Spanish. I think I'll end up doing that next transfer. Furthermore, there are quite a few elders who say I'm one of the best (kinda scary...what is the Spanish like for the rest of the mission then) so my ego is through the roof a bit.
We also had a wonderful Thanksgiving full of 4 hours of volleyball, lots of food, and a short minute to call home. So thankful for all the people in my life and all those who have supported me to be the man I'm becoming.
This week we had a lot of downtime, canceled lessons, and study time. In my personal study I've finally made it to 3 Nephi and Christ is teaching to the people of the America's. It is beautiful to see the many blessings he gives them after all the trials they have faced. Just wanted to let you know that God is on our side. One mistake, no matter how large will not exempt you from the blessings that come from all the other stuff you are trying to do right. The Lord loves effort. I think one of those blessings is I've got some pictures for you! And I'm going to be teaching an English class!

9. Jumped into the sisters' attic to see if a dude was up there. Got paid with a lot of free snacks. Don't worry it was president approved time with the sisters, after we got there and didn't tell him haha. Everything was OK just one of the sisters let in the cops with a giant knife.

I'm Here For a Good Time Not a Long Time

 January 30, 2023 This week was a little rough, but we're we're able to have a lot of success. A good friend had to go home early but luckily he has the opportunity to come back in a few months so that's super exciting. Also our good friend Edwin will be having his baptism pushed back but he just wants to make sure he knows enough before he commits, so not a bad thing. But we also put a friend named Jarrón on date and the other guys he lives with are soon to follow they just want to learn more. It is so exciting to see their desire to learn. Lest week we found a Magic store so that's a ton of fun and sadly will become a money drain... Very dangerous for me haha Our new missionaries in the zone will definitely mix things up but in general our focus will just be to support our District leaders and help everyone increase there want to serve. Transfer News and Super Fun Stuff

 December 12, 2022 This week was awesome! For starters, we put Yoanni, one of our investigators from Venezuela, on date! The original day was for the 14th. He's awesome, for our last lesson on the plan of salvation he was teaching half of it, and it was super great, he is definitely ready. On top of that we had a baptism on Sunday. Went well I got to baptize, sadly I dropped her haha. Yesterday I was also able to give the Holy Ghost to her, felt funny being told the words by the Branch President though like a kid in primary saying prayers. Also, Yesterday I got the news that I will be moving to Santa Clara, and I will be a Zone leader! Staying Spanish which is awesome and even better I'm getting back with my trainer so it's going to be wild. So excited, a little stressed with the new responsibilities, and very excited to see how this area does while I'm gone and hearing from my companions how the people are progressing.
