It's that time again

So many goals, so much to do, so little time. Haha trying to get better at documenting the mission so here is one of my legendary emails!

Been a rough few weeks, all planned lessons have canceled and our good friends aren't ever available for some reason. But my eyes have been opened and it's time to Rise and Find! So we have just been going at it and talking to tons of people on Facebook and trying to get stuff set up. Teaching a ton online and just trying to meet the people where they are at. We've been getting quite a but of success but most of the good ones live outside of our mission 😭

Lately I've just been studying on how to be a better teacher and listener. It's a grind but I know where I want to improve I got a goal I just gotta do it. Studies are great and I am studying more than I ever did in school so that's cool. 

Final words for the week:
To all those preparing for missions or even just thinking about it. It's worth it, all the time lost, falling behind on school and work and trying to keep relationships. You learn so much, you get to understand why we are even believing what we believe and I want to let you know, it's not what you expect. We aren't perfect, testimonies falter, people yell at you, you are going to feel inadequate, you'll look around and see these young men that every kid in the church looks up to squabble, fight, speak unclean words, and testimonies are Sadly lost because some trials get too great. But, it's still worth it. You will get to walk into a home and see it change, abuse leaves, light comes to their eyes, and they will just begin to beam. The gospel is real, Jesus Christ is a part of our lives if we accept it or not, their is no greater comfort no greater joy than knowing who you are, where you are from, and where you can go. Struggle, fight, falter, and get back on your feet. The Lord expects it but because he expects it he Will help. The mission is what you make it, so prepare all that you can and He will help you with the rest. Don't matter what kind of person you are.

I'm Here For a Good Time Not a Long Time

 January 30, 2023 This week was a little rough, but we're we're able to have a lot of success. A good friend had to go home early but luckily he has the opportunity to come back in a few months so that's super exciting. Also our good friend Edwin will be having his baptism pushed back but he just wants to make sure he knows enough before he commits, so not a bad thing. But we also put a friend named Jarrón on date and the other guys he lives with are soon to follow they just want to learn more. It is so exciting to see their desire to learn. Lest week we found a Magic store so that's a ton of fun and sadly will become a money drain... Very dangerous for me haha Our new missionaries in the zone will definitely mix things up but in general our focus will just be to support our District leaders and help everyone increase there want to serve. Transfer News and Super Fun Stuff

 December 12, 2022 This week was awesome! For starters, we put Yoanni, one of our investigators from Venezuela, on date! The original day was for the 14th. He's awesome, for our last lesson on the plan of salvation he was teaching half of it, and it was super great, he is definitely ready. On top of that we had a baptism on Sunday. Went well I got to baptize, sadly I dropped her haha. Yesterday I was also able to give the Holy Ghost to her, felt funny being told the words by the Branch President though like a kid in primary saying prayers. Also, Yesterday I got the news that I will be moving to Santa Clara, and I will be a Zone leader! Staying Spanish which is awesome and even better I'm getting back with my trainer so it's going to be wild. So excited, a little stressed with the new responsibilities, and very excited to see how this area does while I'm gone and hearing from my companions how the people are progressing.
